A report is made of a conference held to enable rehabilitation secretaries to define their perceptions of their jobs, and to compare these perceptions with those of rehabilitation counselors and supervisors about their secretaries. All the groups questioned appeared to view the secretary's role in essentially the same way. The report includes sample questionnaires, and explains how the conference was conducted to facilitate discussion about role perception in time span.
