The report presents the results of a feasibility study done for the purpose of determining the need for the modernization and expansion of current systems of navigational aid in Thailand. The objective of the study was to define the elements for a comprehensive long range plan to establish requirements for the implementation of programs designed to increase the use of coastal ports, dredge equipment, the acquisition of navigation aids, and training of both operations maintenance personnel. The report is divided into: (1) Introduction; (2) Summary of Findings and Recommendations; (3) Channel Design, Dredging, and Sediment Control; (4) Aids to Navigation; (5) Hydrographic Surveying; (6) Survey Vessels, Buoy Tenders, and Dredge Fleet; (7) Equipment Acquisition, Operation, and Maintenance; and (8) Budgetary Estimate.
