This report is concerned with the shock motion produced aboard the target ships by the Able and Baker test explosions. Measurements of shock motion are of prime interest in order to determine the motions and forces to which shipboard equipment is subjected. Approximately 315 shock measurement gages were installed on nine destroyers, eight submarines, two cruisers, three battleships, and three attack transports.
