The pollution source inventory for airports include airplane operations (categorized according to taxi, idle, take-off, and landing), aircraft support vehicle operations, vehicular movements, stationary power and heat-source operations, and fueling operations. Also measurements are given of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, particulates, oxides of nitrogen and meteorological parameters. A mathematical dispersion model is used to derive contour maps of individual pollutant concentrations. (Author)
