The development of a multi-city automated traffic records system is described. Although the project started with seven cities and ended with three, a common system for multiple cities is considered feasible. Findings indicate, however, that cities below 20,000 population would not benefit from automated systems. The requiremnts analysis, design criteria, and processing flow are presented. Sample input forms and output reports are given. System flow charts are included. Portions of this document are not fully legible.
