The project involves the reconstruction and widening of 0.76 mile of Addison Avenue (U.S. Highway 93) in Twin Falls, Idaho. The existing two-lane facility would be increased to a width of 64 feet between curb faces to accommodate four traffic lanes, left-turn bays, and painted median. On-street parking would not be allowed. The increased capacity could adequately handle the 1971 average daily traffic (ADT) ranging from 7,500 to 8,700 trips - as well as the 13,000 ADT projected for the year 1995. This project is planned for construction in 1973. Environmental impacts are minimal.
