This report expands the air superiority model presented in 'Air Superiority Campaign Analysis (A Game Theoretic Model)' to include the effects of self escort and aircraft sheltering. With self escort, attack aircraft take advantage of firing opportunities against enemy interceptors, when forced to abort their mission. For the shelter analysis, shelters are assumed to act as decoys throughout the campaign. That is, attackers can not distinguish between an unoccupied and occupied shelter; also all damaged shelters are assumed to be repaired between engagements. The expanded air superiority model is exercised over a range of engagement parameters to examine the effects of self escort and aircraft sheltering on the air superiority campaign. (Author)
