Experiments were made in an attempt to reduce size, weight, and expenses of telemetry systems, with the result of developing a system offering a far better operational efficiency than it could be achieved with equipment of comparable standard. With this system a simultaneous transmission of ten measured values with cut-off frequencies of 60 to 400 cps is possible. A special design of this equipment can be mounted on the rotor head of a helicopter, thereby permitting long-range transmission of measured values from the rotating rotor blades, without using slip rings. A description of this equipment is given and the experience gained by its operation is discussed. (Author)
