This Report shows how the environment of actual flight may be used to stimulate many phases of manned space exploration. A number of simulations using conventional, modified, and specially built aircraft are discussed in relation to the portion of space flight to which they are generally applicable, that is the launch, orbital, entry, or the landing-approach phase.
