The project to date has focused on three tasks: (1) Support of Martin Marietta as the Autonomous Land Vehicle (ALV) integrating contractor, (2) development of a vision system for autonomous navigation of roads and road networks, and (3) experiments using this vision system on the ALV. Progress on each of these topics is described in the following subsections.
