Numerical techniques employed in the analysis of rocket motor solid propellants under thermal loads; dynamic behavior under ground handling, transportation and flight environmental conditions; and pressurization load are reviewed. The constitutive behavior of the solid propellants, and elastic, thermoviscoelastic, and thermoviscoplastic models are discussed.
