The report analyzes the various elements which relate to the maze of problems along the North Syracuse portion of one of the heaviest utilized arterial highways in Onondaga County. Past development has resulted in the typical problems of excessive strip development: Traffic congestion, high accident rates, an excessive number of entrance points onto the highway and an undesirable aesthetic appearance. Recommendations are made to correct the existing problems, prevent future expansion of them and to create a more pleasing aesthetic appearance along the corridor.
