The different flaw mechanisms are demonstrated on the example of injection moulded polystyrene with quick, impact, and constant tensile load. Flow zones, brittle fracture, ductile fracture, shear bands, shear elongation, normal stress crazes. Simultaneous shots, slow-motion and time-lapse.
