Microstrip antenna (MSA) is quite flexible and has been used as conformal antenna mounted on arbitrary surface. Conformal filnite-difference time-domain (CFDTD) method has shown excellent versatility. In this paper, CFDTD is applied to analyze microstrip patch antenna mounted on conical surface. Based on the analysis, an omnidirectional 4×4 millimeter wave (MMW) conformal microstrip antenna array which works at 35GHz is developed. The measured data shows good agreement with simulation.
