Traditional airships realize their own control by EFCS (Electronic Flight Control System) driving the front and rear auxiliary airbags, pitching moment of hull and rudder surface during forward flight. In order to meet the requirement of heavy load, the shape dimension is also very large, which easily causes the tension of the skin material to exceed the allowable limit of the material, and will cause greater resistance during flight, which limits its use. In order to reduce drag and improve lift force, a new combined floating-lift integrated biomimetic airship is studied in this paper. This kind of airship is a floating-lift hybrid airship which is slightly heavier than air by properly combining traditional static-buoyant airship with other lift-source airships. It combines the advantages of traditional static-buoyant airship with other dynamic-lift airships and has high lift-drag ratio, heavy load, high controllability, high flight speed and so on. The ground control system has the advantage of simplicity, which can better exert the common advantages of buoyant and dynamic lifting body, so as to improve the aerodynamic performance and loading capacity of airship.
