According to the real accident, the head collision model of SUV and pedestrian was established. Firstly, the PC-CRASH multi-rigid-body dynamics software is used to reconstruct and analyze the accident, and the corresponding pedestrian head dynamic response parameters and pedestrian head injury parameters are derived. Then the pedestrian head impact model is established. The pedestrian head impact parameters (collision velocity and angle) in the accident are taken as the initial strips of finite element simulation. Finally, the validity of the collision model is verified by comparing the degree of sags in the hood of SUV engine and the extent of pedestrian head injury in real accidents with the simulation results. It is of great significance to study the mechanism of head injury and damage assessment in collision accidents.
