One of the most serious problems that needs to be addressed in electric vehicle wireless power transfer (EV-WPT) system is lateral misalignment (LTM). In order to achieve the center alignment of the original secondary coil of the electric vehicle wireless charging system with higher accuracy and low cost, this paper proposes an alignment guidance method that integrates machine vision guidance and magnetic field guidance. This method first uses low-cost camera detection, and determines the relative position difference according to the fixed position information of the parking space and the primary side coil, the camera and the secondary side coil, and then samples the output voltage of the load end according to the mutual inductance change relationship of the original secondary side coil, establishes the mathematical relationship of mutual inductance-voltage, voltage-distance, and finally realizes the center alignment of the primary secondary side coil after three stages of judgment.
