Based on the analysis of the characteristics of Schroeder Phased Harmonic Signal (SPHS), the basic theory of the SPHS testing method is introduced. An experiment of the SPHS testing method is conducted on the steering gear system of a certain missile, and the accuracy and rapidity of the method are verified. Finally, according to the experiment data, the threshold standard of signal parameters of the SPHS testing method is put forward, which provides a reference for selecting the parameters of SPHS in the frequency response test of steering gear system.
