The viewing angle of liquid crystal display in manned spacecraft is analyzed with its properties and type. Three modes to improve the viewing angle for liquid crystal display in manned spacecraft are presented, including, IPS, MVA and compensated film mode. The principles of these modes are analyzed to improving the viewing angle of liquid crystal display in manned spacecraft. Various solutions are compared and concluded for different phases of spacecraft manufacture. In conclusion, liquid crystalline with compensation film is the best choice to solve the viewing angle problem on liquid crystal display in manned spacecraft when LCDs have been equipped.
