Considering the current capability in hardware design, the wireless power transmission (WPT) enables the next stage in the current consumer electronics revolution by prolonging the lifetime of devices powered by batteries. Recently, Information Harvesting (IH) introduced a novel mechanism for wireless power and information transfer which differs from existing far-field wireless power transfer and simultaneous transmission of power and data protocols. In this paper, a new IH mechanism which relies on quadrature spatial modulation (QSM) is proposed and the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed mechanism improves the secrecy at information receiver and provide more harvested energy to the harvester.
