Progressed development of Vehicle to Vehicle communication technology has aroused the needs of simulation to evaluate the performance of this technology. In order to have accurate estimation on path loss and signal fading in real world, scenario-specific propagation models should be integrated with simulation. In this paper, we analyze a foliage scenario where high-profile trees along both roadsides with a line-of-sight (LOS) communication link between testing vehicles. We present a multi-ray model to simulate the propagation loss and validate the model with raw data from measurements performed in the rural area of Lippstadt, Germany. The proposed model reflects the condition observed from our measurement results, and has a high performance in estimating the attenuation.
