The development of dependable High-Integrity Avionics Systems (HIASs) is a time-consuming process (costly and risky) that entails a multidisciplinary team. Agility and dependability at early development stages can significantly reduce costs and risks. This paper discusses a cognitive design framework for collaborative interaction between multidisciplinary developers and automatically cross-checked models, which are essential to make the development stages of an HIAS agile and more cost/risk-effective. This paper shows querying results from the fusion of three modelling representations that combines notation of control, hardware, and software requirements. It deals with a HIAS case study for the above requirements. Conclusions and future work are also presented.
