A fuzzy variable structure guidance law has been presented for intercepting the high-speed maneuverable target in aerosphere. The model of the relative movement between target and interceptor has been constructed. Taking the lateral thrust and aerodynamic force combining control into account, a three-dimensional fuzzy guidance law has been designed for tuning the variable structure guidance law, which can ensure the speediness and anti-jamming capability of the system and which can also reduce the chattering. This guidance law needs no information on the velocity and acceleration of the target, and hence is convenient for practical project. The simulation results show that this guidance law has highly precision for high-speed maneuverable target in aerosphere, and show that fuzzy variable structure guidance law has advantage.
