The reasonable planning and layout of charging and switching facilities is the guarantee for the electricity demand of electric vehicles. This is also the key to promoting the development of electric vehicles. Based on the current research on electric vehicle charging and switching facilities at home and abroad, this study combines the charging characteristics of different types of electric vehicles and examines the layout of electric vehicle charging and switching facilities under the green transportation system. This study provides a reference for the layout of charging and swapping facilities. It is found that bus charging facilities should be distributed in bus parking lots, transportation hubs and bus first and last stops; charging facilities for cabs and online vehicles should be distributed in public parking lots, transportation hubs, gas stations and bus parking lots; charging facilities for private cars should be designed in residential parking lots, corporate parking lots, private garages, gas stations and public parking lots.
