A computer-implemented system and method for deployment in a cockpit environment includes a trained intelligent decision maker configured to generate real-time recommended actions to be taken to complete a task and an outcome assessor deployable in conjunction with the intelligent decision maker configured to communicate with the intelligent decision maker to generate probability estimates of scenario outcomes based on the recommended actions with or without considering altered state data input by an operator. In use, the outcome assessor operates to provide the analytic data upon which the recommended actions are based and predicts the expected performance of the decision maker in actual and hypothetical scenarios.
