Disclosed are an air mobility power management system and an operation method thereof, comprising: a plurality of batteries that provide power to propulsion units that propel air mobility; and a discharge control unit that monitors an operating state and a charging state of each battery, determines a discharge mode of each battery according to the operating state and charging state, and controls whether or not each battery is discharged or a discharge rate according to the determined discharge mode. When a problem such as thermal runaway occurs in multiple batteries supplying power to the air mobility, the thermal runaway can be prevented from being transferred to batteries in trouble by discharging each battery according to the discharge mode for each flight state.
항공모빌리티를 추진하는 추진부에 전력을 제공하는 복수의 배터리; 및 각각의 배터리의 동작상태 및 충전상태를 모니터링하며, 동작상태 및 충전상태에 따라 각각의 배터리의 방전모드를 결정하고, 결정된 방전모드에 따라 각각의 배터리의 방전여부 또는 방전속도를 제어하는 방전제어부;를 포함하는 항공모빌리티의 전력 관리 시스템 및 그 운영방법이 소개된다.
