The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for transmitting wireless power to an electric vehicle using the winding number control of a coil. The method for transmitting the wireless power using the winding number control of the coil, which is performed in the apparatus for transmitting the wireless power to the electric vehicle, comprises the steps of: sensing an alignment state between a transmitting pad and a receiving pad; adjusting the winding number of a transmitting coil included in the transmitting pad or a receiving coil included in the receiving pad according to the alignment state; and performing wireless power transmission to the electric vehicle when the winding number control is completed. Therefore, since the winding number and the winding ratio of the transmitting coil or the receiving coil can be adjusted, various parameter variations including the inductance of the coil and the output voltage at the receiving coil can be compensated.

    코일의 권선수 조절을 이용하여 전기차로 무선 전력을 전송하는 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 여기서 전기차로 무선 전력을 전송하는 장치에서 수행되는, 코일의 권선수 조절을 이용한 무선 전력 전송 방법은, 송신 패드와 수신 패드 사이의 정렬 상태를 감지하는 단계, 상기 정렬 상태에 따라 상기 송신 패드에 포함된 송신 코일 또는 상기 수신 패드에 포함된 수신 코일의 권선수를 조절하는 단계 및 권선수 조절이 완료되면 전기차로 무선 전력 전송을 수행하는 단계를 포함한다. 따라서, 송신 코일이나 수신 코일의 권선수와 권선비를 조절할 수 있으므로 코일의 인덕턴스나 수신 코일에서의 출력 전압 등을 포함한 각종 파라미터 변동분을 보상할 수 있다.
