The present invention relates to a method and a system for managing a train based on long term evolution-railway (LTE-R). The method for managing the train based on LTE-R comprises: a process of receiving location information regarding an operating train from a device for providing a train location; a process of displaying the train location on a train location display screen of a control board according to location information regarding the operating train; a process of transmitting a location information request signal to an on-board mobile device if the location information regarding the operating train is not received from the device for providing the train location; a process of receiving location information generated from the on-board mobile device; and a process of displaying the train location on the train location display screen according to the received location information. According to the present invention, in an event of a failure in receiving the location information regarding the operating train from the device for providing the train location, the location of the operating train can be displayed by using the location information received from the on-board mobile device.

    본 발명은 LTE-R 기반의 열차 관리 방법 및 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 LTE-R 기반의 열차 관리 방법, 열차위치 제공장치로부터 운행중인 열차에 대한 위치정보를 수신하는 과정, 운행중인 열차에 대한 위치정보에 따라 관제조작반의 열차위치 표시화면에 열차의 위치를 표시하는 과정, 열차위치 제공장치로부터 운행중인 열차에 대한 위치정보를 수신받지 못하는 경우, 차상 이동국 장치에 위치정보 요청 신호를 전송하는 과정, 차상 이동국 장치에서 생성한 위치정보를 수신하는 과정, 및 수신한 위치정보에 따라 열차위치 표시화면에 열차의 위치를 표시하는 과정을 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 열차위치 제공장치로부터 운행중인 열차에 대한 위치정보를 수신하지 못하는 장애가 발생한 경우에, 차상 이동국 장치로부터 수신한 위치정보를 이용하여 운행 중인 열차의 위치를 표시할 수 있다.
