An automatic parking assist device according to an embodiment has an advantage that a parking space can be precisely detected using a laser sensor having a high resolution and a low cost. At this time, the laser sensor swings a laser beam irradiation direction and moves the horizontal scanning surface in a lateral direction, thereby allowing a pointer laser can detect a 3D space.

    실시예에 따른 자동주차 보조장치는 분해능이 높고 저렴한 단가의 레이저 센서를 이용하여 정밀하게 주차공간을 탐지할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이때, 레이저 센서는 레이저 조사방향을 스윙하여, 스캔하는 수평면을 횡방향으로 이동시킴으로써, 포인터 레이저로 3D 공간을 탐지할 수 있다.
