The present invention provides an around view monitoring (AVM) system comprising: a display module, a camera module, and a control module. The camera module photographs the surroundings of a vehicle. The control module calculates a lighting brightness value corresponding to a lighting area of a headlamp mounted on the vehicle and a shade brightness value corresponding to a shade area from an AVM image composed using images of the surroundings, generates state information on the headlamp based on the lighting brightness value and the shade brightness value, and controls the AVM image and the state information to be displayed on the display module. According to the present invention, the state information on whether the headlamp performs a normal operation is displayed on the display module, thereby allowing a user to check whether the headlamp performs normally or abnormally.
본 발명은, 디스플레이모듈, 차량의 주변영상을 촬영하는 카메라모듈 및 상기 주변영상으로 합성한 AVM 영상에서 상기 차량에 장착된 헤드램프의 조명영역에 대응하는 조명휘도값 및 음영영역에 대응하는 음영휘도값을 산출하고, 상기 조명휘도값 및 상기 음영휘도값을 기반으로 상기 헤드램프의 상태정보를 생성하고, 상기 AVM 영상 및 상기 상태정보가 상기 디스플레이모듈에 디스플레이되게 제어하는 제어모듈을 포함하는 AVM 시스템을 제공한다.
