According to an embodiment of the present invention, a wheel driving system comprises: a generator connected with an engine and generating electric energy; a front axle for driving at least one front wheel through a front drive shaft; a rear axle for driving at least one rear wheel through a rear drive shaft; and a central connect unit installed to be individually connected with the front drive shaft and the rear drive shaft. The front axle and the rear axle include: a front electric motor and a rear electric motor for generating drive torque; and a front transmission and a rear transmission for converting drive torque into necessary converting torque according to the speed of construction equipment and individually transmitting the torque to the front wheel and the rear wheel. As multiple transmissions can have different transmission ratios and transmission points, while the traction load of construction equipment is satisfied, torque can be continuously transmitted in shifting gears. Moreover, as small and light electric motors can be used, construction equipment can be light-weighted and downsized, and fuel efficiency and working efficiency are improved.

    예시적인 실시예들에 따른 휠 구동 시스템은 엔진에 연결되어 전기에너지를 발생시키는 발전기, 전방 구동축을 통하여 적어도 하나의 전방 휠을 구동시키는 전방 액슬, 후방 구동축을 통하여 적어도 하나의 후방 휠을 구동시키는 후방 액슬, 및 전방 구동축과 후방 구동축에 각각 연결 가능하도록 구비되는 중앙 연결유닛을 포함할 수 있다. 전방 액슬 및 후방 액슬은 구동토크를 발생하는 전방 전동기 및 후방 전동기, 및 구동토크를 건설기계의 속도에 따라 필요한 변환토크로 바꾸어 전방 휠 및 후방 휠에 각각 전달하는 전방 변속기 및 후방 변속기를 각각 포함할 수 있다. 다수개의 변속기가 서로 다른 변속비들 및 변속시점들을 각각 가질 수 있으므로, 건설기계의 트랙션 로드를 만족하며 변속시에 토크가 연속적으로 전달될 수 있다. 또한, 작고 가벼운 전동기들을 사용할 수 있어, 건설기계의 경량화, 소형화가 가능하고 연비 개선 및 작업효율 개선이 가능하다.
