본 발명은 대형 캐비테이션 터널에서 프로펠러의 캐비테이션을 관찰하기 위한 실험에 있어서, 관측창에 직각 프리즘을 설치한 후 직각 프리즘의 내부에 물을 충수함으로써, 관측창의 정면이 아닌 좌우측에 위치하는 프로펠러의 캐비테이션을 가시광 굴절 및 왜곡현상 없이 마치 정면에서 바라보는 것과 같이 선명하게 관찰할 수 있도록 하는, 직각 프리즘 장치를 이용한 프로펠러 캐비테이션 관찰 방법에 관한 것이다.

    The present invention relates to a propeller cavitation observing method using a rectangular prism device, wherein in an experiment to observe cavitation of a propeller in a large cavitation tunnel, after a rectangular prism is installed in an observation window, water is filled in the rectangular prism to clearly observe the cavitation of the propeller placed at left and right sides instead of the front of the observation window without visible light refraction and distortion phenomena. Therefore, the cavitation looks as if the cavitation is seen from the front.
