The present invention relates to a remote meter reading system of a sensor for traffic survey, which is to conveniently and remotely check the state of a loop sensor or a piezo sensor, which is used for an automatic vehicle classification (AVC) device or a vehicle detection system (VDS), in real time. The remote meter reading system of the sensor for traffic survey includes: a remote meter reading device inspecting a state signal of a VDS sensor or an AVC sensor buried in a road, in a field in real time; and a sensor information collecting and analyzing server collecting sensor information inspected by the remote meter reading device and determining the state of the sensor by analyzing the collected sensor information. To achieve the purpose of the present invention, the remote meter reading system of a sensor for traffic survey can remotely inspect a metering instrument for traffic survey in real time or periodically and, therefore, can prevent a traffic accident, which may occur as an administrator visits the field to inspect the metering instrument, in advance. The remote meter reading system of the sensor for traffic survey can prevent a different value from being generated depending on the person or the metering instrument and can save a road operation maintenance budget.

    차량 검지기(VDS; Vehicle Detection System)나 교통량 조사 장비(AVC; Automatic Vehicle Classification)에 이용되는 피에조 센서(Piezo Sensor)나 루프 센서(Loop Sensor)의 상태를 원격에서 실시간으로 편리하게 확인할 수 있도록 한 교통량 조사용 센서의 원격 검침 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 도로에 매설된 AVC센서나 VDS센서의 상태 신호를 현장에서 실시간으로 검침하는 원격 검침 장치 및 원격 검침 장치에서 검침한 센서 정보를 수집하고, 이를 분석하여 센서의 상태를 판별하는 센서정보 수집 및 분석서버를 포함하여, 교통량 조사용 센서의 원격 검침 시스템을 구현하며, 이를 통해 원격에서 교통량 조사용 계측기를 실시간 또는 주기적으로 점검할 수 있어, 관리자가 계측기 점검을 위해 현장 방문을 함으로써 발생하는 교통사고를 미리 방지할 수 있으며, 사람 및 계측기에 따라 다른 값을 생성하는 것도 방지하고, 도로 운용 유지보수 예산도 절감할 수 있게 된다.
