An object of the present invention is to provide a method for effectively removing hard foreign matters adhering to a coating surface of a car during a preliminary washing process. A detergent powder for use in an automatic car wash station, and a detergent solution supply tank and a preliminary car wash system for the same are disclosed. The detergent powder according to one embodiment of the present invention includes insoluble inorganic particles as detergent powder for preliminary washing used in combination with water.
