The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for recognizing a smart key. The apparatus for recognizing a smart key comprises: a radio frequency (RF) receiving part which receives an RF signal from a smart key for a vehicle; a low frequency (LF) transmitting part which transmits LF data to the surroundings; a storage part which stores the RF power setting information of each smart key therein; and a control part which renews and stores the RF power setting information of each smart key from the storage part therein on the basis of the order where the smart keys for a vehicle are connected, and recognizes the corresponding smart key by transmitting the LF data having the renewed RF power setting information of each smart key through the LF transmitting part and receiving the RF signal having a largest output among the RF signals simultaneously received through the RF receiving part. Therefore, the present invention improves user convenience by securing rapid response in case the user has two or more smart keys.

    본 발명은 스마트키 인식 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 차량용 스마트키로부터 RF(Radio Frequency) 신호를 수신하는 RF 수신부, LF(Low Frequency) 데이터를 주변에 송신하는 LF 송신부, 스마트키별 RF 출력(RF POWER) 설정 정보를 저장하는 저장부, 및 상기 차량용 스마트키가 접속되었던 순서에 기초하여, 상기 저장부의 스마트키별 RF 출력 설정 정보를 갱신하여 저장하고, 상기 갱신된 스마트키별 RF 출력 설정 정보가 포함된 LF 데이터를 상기 LF 송신부를 통해 송신하고, 상기 RF 수신부를 통해 동시에 수신되는 RF 신호 중 가장 큰 출력의 RF 신호를 수신하여 해당 스마트키를 인식하는 제어부를 포함한다.
