To provide a technique that can reduce a bending moment generated in a mecanum wheel.SOLUTION: A driving device comprises: a driving source 14; a decelerator 16 which decelerates and outputs power inputted from the driving source 14; and mecanum wheels 18A, 18B which are rotated by output of the decelerator 16. The decelerator 16 includes: a deceleration part 24 to which power is inputted from the driving source 14; carriers 26A, 26B for supporting the deceleration part 24; a case 28 which can rotate relatively to the carriers 26A, 26B; and main bearings 38A, 38B located between the case 28 and the carriers 26A, 26B. The mecanum wheels 18A, 18B are fixed to the case 28 and one of the carriers 26A, 26B, and comprise an auxiliary bearing 46 which is located, separately from the main bearings 38A, 38B, between a fixation member 44, which is integrated with the case 28 and the other of the carriers 26A, 26B, and the mecanum wheels 18A, 18B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
