To provide a seat slide device in which a slide lock is hardly released even if a floor deforms.SOLUTION: A seat slide device (91) comprises a pair of slide bodies (1), (2) and a towel bar (31) which is fixed to a front part of each support bracket (51). The pair of slide bodies have: a fixed rail (11) laid on a floor (92); a movable rail (12) which is guided by the fixed rail (11), and slides; a bracket (52) which is provided on the movable rail (12), and can oscillate so that the front and back are turned upside down with a longitudinal intermediate art as a fulcrum; a support bracket (51) which is so supported as to be rotatable around an axis (CL51) extending at a hinge part (HG) of the bracket (52) in only one direction from a prescribed attitude; and a movement regulation part (4) which regulates slide of the movable rail (12) with a rear part of the bracket (52) up and releases the same with the rear part down. The hinge part (HG) prohibits rotation of the support bracket (51) when the towel bar (31) is lifted, and permits rotation of the support bracket (51) when the towel bar (31) is lowered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
