To provide a four-wheel drive vehicle which can maximize a regeneration torque of a rotating machine at regeneration control at the deceleration of the vehicle.SOLUTION: Since a regeneration torque upper limit value Vulr can be set to a large value when a rear-wheel side distribution rate Xr is low compared with the case that the rear-wheel side distribution rate Xr is high, a slip hardly occurs at a wheel at the execution of the regeneration control compared with the case that a drive force distribution to a front wheel is small. When the drive force distribution to the front wheel is large, the regeneration torque of a second rotating machine MG2 can be further increased compared with the case that the regeneration torque upper limit value Vulr is set to a uniform value conforming to the case that the drive force distribution to the front wheel is small. As above, the regeneration torque of the second rotating machine MG2 can be increased according to the rear-wheel side distribution rate Xr. Therefore, in a four-wheel drive vehicle in which drive force distributions of fore-and-aft wheels are changed, the regeneration torque of the second rotating machine MG2 at the regeneration control at the deceleration of the vehicle can be maximized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】車両減速時に回生制御における回転機の回生トルクの最大化を図ることができる四輪駆動車両を提供する。【解決手段】後輪側配分率Xrが小さいときには後輪側配分率Xrが大きいときに比べて回生トルク上限値Vulrが大きな値に設定されるので、前輪への駆動力配分が小さい場合に比べて回生制御の実行時に車輪にスリップが生じ難くされる、前輪への駆動力配分が大きい場合には、前輪への駆動力配分が小さい場合に合わせて回生トルク上限値Vulrが一律の値に設定されることと比べて、第2回転機MG2の回生トルクをより大きくすることができる。このように、後輪側配分率Xrに応じて第2回転機MG2の回生トルクを大きくすることができる。よって、前後輪の駆動力配分が変化させられる四輪駆動車両において、車両減速時に回生制御における第2回転機MG2の回生トルクの最大化を図ることができる。【選択図】図7
