To provide a moving body locus generation method capable of detecting a new moving locus or a changed moving locus of a moving body using a photographic image acquired by a flying body.SOLUTION: Images of each color component at exposure timing of an area Ei for a predetermined period photographed from sky are read in sequence. For each reading, the images for each color component are superimposed to generate a color composite image for each exposure. In the color composite image for each exposure, images with the same wavelength are superimposed to generate a panchromatic image for each exposure. A pan-sharpened image CP1i for each exposure, which is obtained by superimposing and synthesizing a color composite image for each exposure and a panchromatic image for each exposure, is generated. The pan-sharpened image for each exposure is generated and a color of a mesh used as a moving body is emphasized, and the amount of movement of a moving body on a road is generated on an RGB-enhanced pan-sharpened image CP2i. These RGB-enhanced pan-sharpened images CP2i are further superimposed to generate a vehicle movement locus detection image CDi representing a single locus on the road.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
