To provide a rubber chafer 4 of a pneumatic tire which needs high rubber hardness so as to support a weight of a vehicle and secure steering stability, and further needs excellent workability.SOLUTION: A rubber composition is obtained by blending 60-80 pts.mass of carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (N2SA) of 70 m2/g or more, 10-30 pts.mass of a plasticizer and 0.5-20 pts.mass of polyglyceryl derived from a fatty acid having 6 to 24 carbon atoms with respect to 100 pts.mass of a diene-based rubber including 40-50 pts.mass of a natural rubber and/or a synthetic isoprene rubber and 50-60 pts.mass of a butadiene rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】空気入りタイヤのガムチェーファー4には、車両の荷重を支え、また操縦安定性を確保するために高いゴム硬度が要求されている。さらに優れた加工性も求められる。【解決手段】天然ゴムおよび/または合成イソプレンゴム40〜50質量部と、ブタジエンゴム50〜60質量部とを含むジエン系ゴム100質量部に対し、窒素吸着比表面積(N2SA)が70m2/g以上のカーボンブラックを60〜80質量部、可塑剤を10〜30質量部、および炭素数6〜24の脂肪酸を由来とするポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルを0.5〜20質量部配合してなることを特徴とするゴム組成物によって、上記課題を解決した。【選択図】図1
