To reduce a pressure loss in an air conditioning case in a case that a vertical connection opening connecting an upper passage with a lower passage is closed in a vehicle air conditioner in which an interior of the air conditioning case is divided into the upper passage and the lower passage by a vertical partition plate.SOLUTION: A vehicle air conditioner includes: an air conditioning case 2 having an upper passage R1 and a lower passage R2 divided by a vertical partition plate 2b therein; a heater core 4 which is disposed spanned between the upper passage R1 and the lower passage R2; and an upper passage partition plate 2c disposed at the downstream side of the heater core 4 in the upper passage R1 and forming a guide passage R3 which guides part of air that has passed through the heater core 4 toward a vertical connection opening K1 connecting the upper passage R1 with the lower passage R2. The vehicle air conditioner includes a guide passage opening/closing mechanism 10 which closes the guide passage R3 in a state that the vertical connection opening K1 is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】空調ケースの内部が上下仕切板によって上側通路と下側通路とに区画された車両用空調装置において、上側通路と下側通路とを接続する上下接続開口が閉じられた場合における空調ケース内部の圧力損失を低減する。【解決手段】上下仕切板2bにより区画された上側通路R1及び下側通路R2を内部に有する空調ケース2と、上側通路R1と下側通路R2に跨って配置されたヒータコア4と、上側通路R1のヒータコア4の下流に配置されると共に上側通路R1と下側通路R2とを接続する上下接続開口K1に向けてヒータコア4を通過した空気の一部を案内する案内通路R3を形成する上側通路仕切板2cとを備える車両用空調装置であって、上下接続開口K1が閉鎖された状態にて案内通路R3を閉鎖する案内通路開閉機構10を備える。【選択図】図1
