To provide a kite which can be adjusted by a long sheet tape or string without increasing an air resistance.SOLUTION: A kite 1 comprises: a skeleton structure 10: and main wings 2 and horizontal tails 3 which are formed of a kite sheet 7 attached to the skeleton structure. The skeleton structure comprises: a center rib 11 which serves as a symmetric axis of the kite; main wing main ribs 12 which are orthogonal to the center rib and arranged on a main part of the main wing; a pair of first main wing vertical ribs 15 which cross the main wing main rib and are attached so as to be almost parallel to the center rib; a tail center rib 21 which is arranged on the horizontal tail 3 and connected to a rear end of the center rib; a twisting mechanism 30 which can connect the tail center rib to the center rib in a state of twisting an axis line of the center rib to a center; vertical tails each of which is formed by sticking kite sheets to each other at a rear end of the horizontal tail, with the tail center rib as a center; first vertical fine ribs 15a each of which is arranged on a rear part of the main wing and connected to the rear end of each of the pair of first main wing vertical ribs; and first hinge mechanisms 41 which connect the first vertical fine rib to each of the pair of first main wing vertical ribs, so as to be foldable in a vertical direction with respect to an axis line of the pair of first main wing vertical ribs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
