To provide an electric vehicle, which is allowed to easily pass through a high resistance part on a road surface more simply.SOLUTION: The electric vehicle comprises a motor connected to a driving wheel, an inverter for driving the motor and a control device that controls the inverter. When the vehicle travels on a high resistance part on a road surface, the control device executes pulsation induction processing in which pulsation of torque of the motor is made larger than when the vehicle travels on a part other than the high resistance part on the road surface. This can increase a maximum value of the torque of the motor (a maximum value of the torque of the driving wheel), which causes the driving wheel to slip easily. When the driving wheel is gripped after the wheel slips, kinetic energy during idle running of the driving wheel is converted to driving torque of the driving wheel, so that the driving torque of the driving wheel increases, which enables the vehicle to easily pass on the high resistance part on the road surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】より簡易に路面高抵抗部を通過しやすくする。【解決手段】駆動輪に連結されたモータと、モータを駆動するインバータと、インバータを制御する制御装置と、を備える電動車両において、制御装置は、路面高抵抗部を走行するときには、インバータの制御で、路面高抵抗部以外を走行するときに比してモータのトルクの脈動を大きくする脈動誘発処理を実行する。これにより、モータのトルクの極大値(駆動輪のトルクの極大値)が大きくなり、駆動輪がスリップしやすくなる。そして、駆動輪がスリップした後にグリップすると、駆動輪の空転時の運動エネルギが駆動輪の駆動トルクに変換されて駆動輪の駆動トルクが増加するから、路面高抵抗部を通過しやすくすることができる。【選択図】図2
