To provide a hybrid automobile, which is allowed to easily pass through a high resistance part on a road surface more simply when travelling using power from a second motor after stopping operation of an engine and travelling on the high resistance part on the road surface.SOLUTION: When a hybrid automobile travels using power from a second motor after stopping operation of an engine and travels on a high resistance part on a road surface, smoothing processing in which torque of the second motor is smoothed by controlling a second inverter is not executed, and pulsation suppression processing in which pulsation of torque of a driving wheel is suppressed is executed by controlling a first inverter, while setting an absolute value of torque of the driving wheel to be larger than when smoothing processing is executed by controlling the second inverter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
