To provide an electronic control device capable of improving protection performance of an electric motor.SOLUTION: An HVECU drives and controls a motor generator as a motor of a vehicle. The HVECU acquires an MG temperature that is a temperature of the motor generator from a coil temperature sensor, determines whether or not the MG temperature reaches a threshold, and performs load rate reduction and suppression when having determined that the MG temperature reaches the threshold (S10 and S16). The HVECU determines whether or not the coil temperature sensor is exposed to cooling oil when not having determined that the MG temperature reaches the threshold, and performs the load rate reduction and suppression irrespective of the MG temperature when having determined that the coil temperature sensor is exposed to the cooling oil (S11, S12 and S16).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】電動機の保護性能を向上できる電子制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】HVECUは、車両の原動機としてのモータジェネレータを駆動制御する。HVECUは、コイル温度センサからモータジェネレータの温度であるMG温度を取得して、MG温度が閾値に達しているか否かを判定し、MG温度が閾値に達していると判定した場合、負荷率低減抑制を行う(S10、S16)。また、HVECUは、MG温度が閾値に達していると判定されていない場合、コイル温度センサが冷却オイルに晒されているか否かを判定し、コイル温度センサが冷却オイルに晒されていると判定した場合、MG温度にかかわらず負荷率低減抑制を行う(S11、S12、S16)。【選択図】図2
