To provide a seat belt device increasing electric energy usable by a transmission part wirelessly transmitting information on a condition detected on a buckle side.SOLUTION: A seat belt device includes: a seat belt; a tongue attached to the seat belt; a buckle through which the tongue is inserted or withdrawn; a retractor winding the seat belt; a power generation part mounted on the retractor and generating power by drawing out the seat belt from the retractor or winding the seat belt around the retractor; a detection part mounted on the buckle and detecting a prescribed condition; and a transmission part wirelessly transmitting information on the condition detected by the detection part using electric power generated in the power generation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
