PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal insulation structure of a liquefied gas tank that absorbs the difference of a thermal contraction amount between the liquefied gas tank and a heat-proof panel and has a high heat-proof performance, and a liquefied gas tank using the thermal insulation structure.SOLUTION: A thermal insulation structure of a liquefied gas tank according to one embodiment is a thermal insulation structure of a liquefied gas tank with a liquefied gas tank surface covered with a plurality of heat-proof panels, in which an edge face of a first heat-proof panel includes: a plurality of flanks disposed on the inner side of the first heat-proof panel as going away from the liquefied gas tank; and a stair shaped parallel face parallel to the surface of the liquefied gas tank connecting the plurality of flanks. An edge face of a second heat-proof panel which is adjacent to the first heat-proof panel includes: a plurality of flanks disposed on the outer side of the second heat-proof panel as going away from the liquefied gas tank and facing each other with gaps on a plurality of flanks of the first heat-proof panel; and a stair shaped parallel face in parallel with the surface of the liquefied gas tank connecting the plurality of flanks and in contact with the parallel surface of the first heat-proof panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】液化ガスタンクと防熱パネルの熱収縮量の差を吸収し、且つ、高い防熱性能を有する液化ガスタンクの防熱構造およびそれを用いた液化ガスタンクを提供する。【解決手段】一態様に係る液化ガスタンクの防熱構造は、液化ガスタンク表面を複数の防熱パネルで覆った液化ガスタンクの防熱構造であって、第1防熱パネルの端面は、液化ガスタンクから遠ざかるにつれて第1防熱パネルの内方側に配置された複数の側面と、複数の側面同士を連結する、液化ガスタンクの表面に平行な平行面とを有する階段形状を有し、第1防熱パネルに隣接する第2防熱パネルの端面は、液化ガスタンクから遠ざかるにつれて第2防熱パネルの外方側に配置され、第1防熱パネルの複数の側面に隙間をあけてそれぞれ対向した複数の側面と、複数の側面同士を連結する、液化ガスタンクの表面に平行であって、第1防熱パネルの平行面と当接した平行面とを有する階段形状を有している。【選択図】図1
