PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion structure capable of restricting occurrence of unsatisfactory state generated by adhesion of foreign matters to a seal member to cause an interpolation member and an externally-inserted member of which relative positions can be changed to show fluid-tight state.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an insertion structure 101 comprising an interpolation member 54 and an externally-inserted member 4 externally inserted to the interpolation member 54, i.e. the externally-inserted member 4 that can change a relative position in an axial direction D1 between the interpolation member 54 and the externally-inserted member 4, an annular seal holding annular recess part 4d arranged at an inner peripheral surface 4j opposing against the interpolation member 54 at the externally-inserted member 4 or an outer peripheral surface opposing against the externally-inserted member at the interpolation member; an annular liquid-tight seal member 75 arranged at the annular seal holding annular recess part 4d for use in liquid-tight between the inner peripheral surface 4j of the externally-inserted member 4 and an outer peripheral surface 54d of the interpolation member 54, and annular grease holding annular grooves 81 to 84 arranged near the seal holding annular recess part 4d to store and hold grease G1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
