PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for holding the posture of a bellows section in a cover member for covering a steering column.SOLUTION: In a cover member 10 for covering a steering column connected to a gear box, a first tubular section 28 and a second tubular section 30 are formed on both end sides of a bellows section 22 between a first opening edge section 24 and a second opening edge section 26 and are formed to have higher rigidity than the bellows section 22. A posture holding section 32 holds the posture of the bellows section 22. A wall section of the posture holding section 32 is extended in a length direction of the bellows section 22 along an outer peripheral surface of the bellows section 22. A first connection section 36 connects one first side section and the other second side section in a circumferential direction of the wall section and is wound around the first tubular section 28. A second connection section 38 connects the first side section and the second side section and is wound around the second tubular section 30. As for the interval between the first connection section and the second connection section, the first side section side is shorter than the second side section side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】本発明はこうした状況に鑑みてなされたものであり、ステアリングコラムを覆うカバー部材において、蛇腹部の姿勢を保持する技術を提供する。【解決手段】ギアボックスに連結されるステアリングコラムを覆うカバー部材10において、第1管状部28および第2管状部30は、第1開口縁部24および第2開口縁部26の間で蛇腹部22の両端側に形成され、蛇腹部22より剛性が高く形成される。姿勢保持部32は、蛇腹部22の姿勢を保持する。姿勢保持部32の壁部は、蛇腹部22の外周面に沿って蛇腹部22の長さ方向に延在する。第1連結部36は、壁部の周方向の一方の第1側部と他方の第2側部を連結し、第1管状部28に巻き付けられる。第2連結部38は、第1側部と第2側部を連結し、第2管状部30に巻き付けられる。第1連結部および第2連結部の間隔は、第1側部側が第2側部側より短い。【選択図】図1
