PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for steel cord coating having low heat generation property, mechanical property and wire adhesive property improved compared with conventional levels.SOLUTION: A reinforcement filler of 30 to 150 pts.wt. and organic acid cobalt salt of 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. are blended based on 100 pts.wt. of masticated rubber master batch where 0.3 to 5.0 wt.% of a specific compound represented by the general formula (i) coexists with 100 wt.% of a diene rubber containing natural rubber and/or isoprene rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】低発熱性、機械的特性およびワイヤー接着性を従来レベル以上に改良するようにしたスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物を提供する。【解決手段】天然ゴムおよび/またはイソプレンゴムを含むジエン系ゴム100重量%に一般式(i)で表わされる特定の化合物0.3〜5.0重量%を共存させた素練りゴムマスターバッチ100重量部に対し、補強性充填剤を30〜150重量部、有機酸コバルト塩を0.1〜10重量部配合したことを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
